The Momentum Story
Momentum Tyres was started in 2003 as the distributor for Aeolus Tyres. Aeolus gained a reputation as a tyre that proved itself in many application-specific markets, delivering trouble-free running, excellent mileage and low running costs. Gleeson & Cox Transport has been running Aeolus Tyres on almost every one of its 100+ trucks since 2007.
Other tyre brands had been extensively tested in this fleet with Aeolus repeatedly delivering the lowest tyre running costs.
In February 2010, Momentum was bought by Gleeson & Cox Transport to ensure it could guarantee the continued provision of great tyres and service not only to itself but also to the entire heavy transport industry in New Zealand.
