Aeolus Tyre Co was founded in 1965 and is a fully owned subsidiary of ChemChina. In 2017 ChemChina acquired a high profile, globally renowned Italian tyre company which brought additional technology and expertise to the ChemChina tyre group.
Recently both Aeolus and its Italian partner have produced a joint venture range of premium truck tyres branded NEO, with Aeolus marketing the product as AEOLUS NEO.
The NEO range of truck tyres has been fully Italian designed. The new design includes tread patterns, compounding, casing and bead design and materials.
NEO is the third generation Aeolus and is manufactured by Aeolus under patents, technology inputs and licence from the Italian partner.
The Aeolus production facilities are new, and span 1,300,000 m2 with more than 9000 employees, selling commercial, earth-moving, agricultural and other application tyres to all 5 continents. The manufacturing facilities operate according to strict quality guidelines and are certified to the quality management standards ISO9001 and ISOTS16949.
